Every year, on the fiftieth day after Pascha, the Orthodox Church celebrates the great Feast of Pentecost. This is one of the most important feast days of the Church year, and we invite everyone to join us for this special weekend of prayer, worship, and fellowship.
We will begin with Soul Saturday, a special day set aside to pray for all the faithful departed. This is a time of remembrance, prayer, and giving in love for those who have fallen asleep in the Lord. Later Saturday evening, please join us for Great Vespers from 5:00–6:00 PM.
On Sunday morning, we will celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles. This beautiful service is a wonderful opportunity to experience the richness of Orthodox worship. After coffee hour, we will gather again for Kneeling Vespers at 2:00 PM.
On Monday, we will celebrate the Name Day of Holy Spirit Orthodox Church. We have invited surrounding clergy, nearby parishes, and the fathers from Holy Cross Monastery to join us for this joyful celebration.
A luncheon will follow in the social hall.
Everyone is invited to attend, especially those who are interested in learning more about the Orthodox Christian Faith.
Our Sunday and Monday services would be especially good times for visitors to come, pray with us, meet members of the parish, and ask questions in a friendly and relaxed setting.
We would be blessed to have you with us.
